THE MAKING OF 2F'S PINGPONG animatics is one of the best kept secrets in the creative world. Until now: illustrator Andrew Selby talked 2F into revealing details of the complex production process. Experts already assumed that the seemingly "clean and simple" artwork is actually based on a wide range of dirty tricks including the use of synthetically generated music, copying from photo-footage and leaving the "real" work to overambitious, underpaid interns (see above). Find out if that’s true in Andrew’s book Animation in process, published January 2009 by Laurence King. The book has been designed by Philip O’Dwyer and it will be accompanied by a DVD.
